If I were to buy something off of eBay how would it show up on the credit card?

I am wanting to buy a pair of flip flops on eBay and was wondering if it would show up on the credit card as eBay purchas or as addidas mens flip flops! Thanks! I kinda need to know:) thaks again! By the way it an American express card:)

It would be paid to the name of the seller of the item.

    It will show up as "paypal transfer" or something like that. It wont show the item you bought.

    For me, it has always shown up as the company name.

    Hi,
    Your credit card is paying Paypal who in turn pays the seller. Your statement should state paypal transaction.
