There is a tube of clear plastic around the part of the thong that goes between the big toe and the first small toe. I didn’t know if I should remove it or not. I wore them for the first and only time so far with the tube in place. It was very uncomfortable. Please advise. Thank you.

If it hurts you, just cut it off. I had a sandals pair with this clear tube, when I cut it off, they became my favorite sandals, because of comfort.

I like flipflops.The ones with the backstraps annoy me though.When you have on regular flipflops you can take your toes out of them and stretch your feet.When the backs are on,even the comfiest flipflops get annoying between your toes.

How do you wear them 8-10 hours a day at work or school and not kick them off so that the thong part doesn’t feel all sweaty?

Ive had this problem, but I just had to keep searching and searching until I found a comfy flipflop. Its not the flipflops..its our feet. Havianas and Quicksilver flipflops I have found to be comfortable, you may want to try those out.

I’m not allwed to do that. It violates my belief system.

How do so many people wear thong sandals and flip-flops without toe pain? I’ve tried band-aids but that doesn’t help.

Maybe you are going to be one of the unfortunate few that will not be able to wear them. Keep your head up life goes on and there are more important things to be concerned with.

Is there anything I can buy to help with the uncomfortable feeling that I get with the plastic in between toes on thong sandals? I am worried this may hurt when I am walking long distances when I travel later this summer. Thanks!

Could you try not wearing the sandals and getting comfortable shoes? Or is there a certain reason you have to wear the sandals? :p

my ‘kini thong rubbs me too…..i thought maybe it was just maybe a size too small…but it looks great but oouch!!

not that i know of. what you can do is place a band aid between your toes that matches your skin tone or put a cotton ball or piece of tissue between your toes..good luck
