I am a man and I can’t stand flip flips because they rub on my toes. However, I will wear soccer sandals if I’m running to the store or something. My wife ONLY wears flip flips EVERYWHERE. I think it’s obnoxious so I’m wondering why flip flops are better than soccer sandals that don’t cut your toes.

Here in surf city…Cocoa Beach, Florida only dweebs where ’soccer’ sandals…all the guys and girls i hang with wear flip flops.

I am size 8 and got the medium (7.5 – 8.5) premier leather men’s sandals (sierra brown). Lengthwise they are perfect. The straps are too narrow and tight, but I hear that this will go away when I break them in. However, they are exactly the same width of my foot, meaning there is almost no extra space left on the widest part of my foot. But, I’m almost certain that my foot is done growing.

So did I get the right size?

Probably just a tad small but you can just wear them alot and they’ll probably space out or if you not feelin’ like waiting then try the ice trick!

I’m thinking about getting my dad a pair of sandals to wear on the boat (regualr speed boat). I don’t think he’d like flip flops. Any suggestions from fellow boaters? brand/style

I’d say something by any of the same brands that make flip flops, but that are actual sandals. Get something that is ok to get wet, and dries off fast – no leather, made from rubber and stuff. And make sure it has good grip since boats can get slippery.

Sandals are for girls. They’re meant to protect a girl’s soles so she can keep them soft and tender. The last thing a guy should want is soft girly feet, though. Guys should just go barefoot. I love seeing guys go barefoot, and I really can’t stand seeing some sissy of a guy wearing sandals at the beach like a girl, or worse yet, wearing cheap ugly rubber flip flops. I hate seeing flip flops even on a girl. The absolute worst though. has to be Tevas,. Those things are a disgrace to anybody’s feet.

Sometimes they help to fool people that you are wearing something… On another note, I think they’re just fun to wear…

I am a size 10 in shoes & a size 9 in converse.
I am aware that it says that a large in Rainbow sandals is 9.5-10.5.
But i am ordering through the internet and don’t want to go through the whole shipping back if it doesn’t fit.

You should be ok. Because you are buying sandals it does not really matter if the sandals are slightly too small or too big.

I don’t think so, but it really depends on how they are worn and what the guy looks like, there is no overall answer to this q. (Like it looks really stupid if a guy wears sandals w/ white socks)
