For me, only not to wear with shorts…
Flared jeans, skinny jeans, denim mini skirts, mid lenght skirts, long skirts, gauchos, capris and aviator pants… are ok for me.

I agree to an extent, I think its all on how you wear it, I mean if your wearing 6 inch see-though platforms and a midriff then yes you will end up looking like a street walker or stripper.
I think short look cute with espadrilles or cute wedge sandals. Now, I’m not talking about demin daisy dukes but nice dressy type shorts. When you wear short shorts or a mini you have to wear a top that is not too reveling like showing too much cleavage.
It also depends on your height, when your short (like me I’m 5′1) and you wear a short skirt or shorts, wearing high heels will make you look lenghtier. You just have to avoid heels or sandals that tie around the ankles because they cut your legs and it makes your legs look short. When you have long legs, well you can get away with all types of shoes!
Skinny Jeans or tapered at the bottom look hot with high heeled pumps or flats. You can go either way with those. I think gauchos and Capri’s look cute with high heels too, as long as they don’t tie around the ankles, again this cuts you at the ankles!
You can go with heels or flats with all these styles. Again, I totally think that its how you wear the clothes!

i am a working woman. I have got a maid who stays with us. Why not buy a great looking sandal without a high heel? You really can’t add arch support easily to sandals, and I have yet to find a fashion high heel sandal that has enough support for people who want comfort. You can find lots of great looking sandals, with arch support… but you probably have to sacrifice the high heel. I always prefer the Birkenstock brand sandals – they have so many great styles now. You even see them in lots of fashion magazines!

Many men have a foot fetish. High heels show more of an arch position of the foot, which is sexier for some reason

With sandals I prefer to go bare. Nylons look funny peeking out of open toe shoes and covering a pretty pedi.
If you must wear pantyhose, a sheer nude would probably look the best.
When I do wear pantyhose, with flats, mules, or pumps, I like Leggs Silken Mist, in suntan.
